Academic CentreDepending on the kind of information being sought, such as material relating to a specific theme or place, we recommend using simple search techniques in the Excel table of the inventory (Data – Filter – Auto Filter).
So that the user may more easily find their way among the changing administrative divisions of the 20th century and to provide additional information about a place or theme of interest, the addresses recorded at the time of fieldwork (late 1940s – early 1990s), for example the district and in some cases also the village, collective farm etc., have been supplemented, additionally giving the corresponding county and parish from Latvia’s pre-war period of independence.
