On June 6, 2022, the President of Latvia Egils Levits visited the Institute of Latvian History. During the visit, the President was informed about the successes of the Institute of Latvian History in recent years, as well as the challenges of historians. In a conversation with the Institute's historians, the President emphasized that for Latvian society it is important to study their history.
